We had beautiful spring weather for our recent open day filled with sunshine, happy children, parents and visitors. There were speeches from the head teacher and pupils council and the school band entertained us with their latest sounds.
The Deputy Mayor of Merton was also in attendance. She was impressed with both the children’s work and their ability to talk in both English and Norwegian.
A lovely chance for parents to come and tour the classrooms and all see all their children’s hard work.
Everyone enjoyed the cafe run by our fantastic FAU (parents committee) with yummy homemade cakes and waffles plus the chance to stock up on some Norwegian chocolate and other goodies from the Norwegian Church kiosk.
