Every school year students in years 8-10 present a landmark on our Southbank trip. This year we got to hear presentations about The London Eye, The National Theatre, The Globe, Borough market, Tate Modern, The Millennium Bridge and St.Paul’s Cathedral. We ate lunch at Borough Market and we climbed the dome of St.Paul’s Cathedral to try the unique acoustics of the Whispering Gallery; some of us even went higher to enjoy some of the most spectacular views over London from the Stone and Golden Galleries. We finished our trip in The Leadenhall Building, famously nicknamed “The Cheese Grater”,  were we had an introduction to how the shipping industry works and again we saw some fantastic views over London.
