Last week it was anti bullying week here in the UK and we joined in with a special focus on the positives of friendships. We were especially lucky to have the author Clare Luther visit us for the Monday morning assembly where children from years 3 & 4 showed their work around her book ‘A Kind Heart and Mind.’

At the end of the assembly the children were treated to the teachers singing to them for once, the anti bullying song ‘Stopp ikke mobb’.

On the same day years 8, 9 and 10 had a visit from the Member of Parliament for Wimbledon Stephen Hammond who talked to them about his role as a busy constituent MP. The students asked some excellent questions, both about politics and his work, a very informative session.
