Missing subjects from Norwegian upper secondary school, or want to take an exam in the UK while studying at a Norwegian university / academic institution institution? You can sit exams as a private candidate (privatist) at the Norwegian School in London.

We offer an exam venue and invigilation for Norwegian centrally set written exams (NB: oral and practical exams cannot be taken abroad).

In addition to any standard exam fee which is payable to the fylkeskommune or your university / academic institution, we charge a fee of £150 per exam for providing the exam venue and invigilation.

How it works:
To take an upper secondary school exam:

1. Register for your privatist exam by the applicable deadline.
2. Contact us at mail@norwegianschool.org.uk in good time before the exam period, so we can confirm we have capacity to host your exam.
3. Send an application to sit the exam abroad to the school in Norway where you are registered as a privatist, enclosing written confirmation from us of our capacity to arrange your exam.

1. Contact us at mail@norwegianschool.org.uk in good time before the exam period, so we can confirm we have capacity to host your exam.
2. Contact your university / academic institution to agree your exam arrangements. We can help you fill out relevant forms.
