What are important knowledge and skills the pupils need to have to function in today’s 
world? The curriculum ensures that the pupils will gain the knowledge and learn the skills required during their education. From August 2020 there is a new curriculum, 
Fagfornyelsen, which ensure the pupil`s education is relevant to the present, as well as the future society. The cross-curriculum 
topics  Helth and Life Skills, Democracy and Citizenship  and Sustainable Development is part of the new curriculum.
