Information about our school

The Norwegian School in London (DNSL) was founded in 1982.
The school follows the Norwegian curriculum and focuses on both Norwegian and
British values.

We offer high quality teaching, where we place emphasis on the individual student and their needs. After leaving us, we want all students to have grown stronger, both academically, socially and personal development.

 A POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
The Norwegian School in London provides an academic, creative and safe environment where students are encouraged to develop a broad perspective and a healthy lifestyle. Respect, cooperation and trust are central to our learning ethos. Our teachers strive to establish strong and close ties with the students and work hard to create a safe learning environment.

Our aim
We aim to follow our motto “Optimum Duo Mundi – The Best of Both Worlds” by combining the Norwegian curriculum
with using London as an extended classroom.
This provides a stimulating and challenging learning environment for our students. Students work to achieve their personal best, while learning to co-operate with others and developing their own skills and interests.  Pupils do not wear school uniforms at our school.
